Wiston House (Wiston Park)

  • House & Family History: Since 1951 Wiston House has been home to the Wilton Park Conference, one of the world's leading centers for the discussion of international policy challenges. The institution takes its name from the Wilton Park estate in Buckinghamshire, which was used as a prisoner of war camp during World War II. The Wilton Park Conference initiated the first discussions on post-war German democracy in 1946.
