Vann

  • House & Family History: Vann is an Arts & Crafts style house that started out in the 16th century as a four-bay timber framed hall house. In 1689 a red brick parlor wing was added to the south. By the early 20th century Vann had become a farmhouse, from which, beginning in 1908, the architect William Caroe created the Arts & Crafts house seen today; Caroe linked an 18th century barn, cart shed, and pigsties to create a new wing to the northeast.
