House & Family History: Tylney was rebuilt in 1878, but then virtually completely rebuilt again 1899-1901 to the designs of Ralph Selden Wornum in a Tudor style. The house is brick with stone dressings and has a recessed center with projecting wings. Circa 1905 Arts & Crafts details were added to the designs of Robert Weir Schultz. Tylney is today a luxury hotel.
