Tretower Court (Tretower Castle) (Trtior Castle)

  • Earlier Houses: The ruins of an earlier house, the Grade I-listed 12th century Tretower Castle, are adjacent to Tretower Court.

    House & Family History: In 1928 Tretower Court was purchased by the Brecknock Society, who gave it to the nation in 1930. Between 1930 and 1960 the House was restored.

    Comments: Tretower Court is considered one of the finest medieval houses in Wales.
