Rougham Hall

  • House & Family History: The large 13-bay, two-story house created in the late 17th and early 18th centuries by Roger North (author of "Lives of the Norths" and "On Building"), which incorporated elements of an earlier house, was mostly demolished circa 1780. The current, smaller House, which incorporates the offices and rear portions of North's house, was created in the 19th and 20th centuries.
