Poston Court (Poston House)

    House & Family History: Poston began life as a casino, or folly, built in the 18th century to the designs of Sir William Chambers. The casino was enlarged from a hunting box into a proper country house circa 1882 and then enlarged again in the late 20th century. Poston House, together with 270 acres, was listed for sale for £4.25 million in May 2009. In the summer of 2023 the house and 266 acres was listed for sale for £9.5 million. Poston House is noted for is domed circular room and its fine plasterwork.
