Kingsmeadows House

    House & Family History: During World War II Kingsmeadows House was used as an emergency maternity hospital. In 1952 the house was acquired by Standard Life, who used it as a repository for official records in case of nuclear attack. In 1996 Kingsmeadows was rebuilt as holiday accommodation; in the early 21st century the house was converted into multiple condominiums.
