Notes: Goodacre was a Leicester architect who worked in the office of Thomas Cook. He was later articled to Stephen Fry, with whom he remained as an assistant until 1850, when he took over Fry's practice at the latter's death. Goodacre was the partner of Thomas Larkins Walker between 1851 and 1856 and practiced as an individual architect from 1856 until 1875, after which he was joined in his practice by his brother, John Goodacre.
