Hodcott House (Manor Farm House)

  • House & Family History: Hodcott House, together with 63 acres (including the famous stables), was listed for sale for £6.975 million in 2022.

  • Garden & Outbuildings: Beginning in the early 1960s the noted horse trainer Dick Hern established the famous West Ilsley Stables at Hodcott House. Through two ownerships (John Jacob Astor VII from the 1960s until the 1980s and Queen Elizabeth II from 1982 until 1999), over 25 major winners were trained at the Grade II-listed 19th century animal buildings at Hodcott.
