House & Family History: In 1961 Leida Costigan purchased the near-derelict Henlow Grange, which had been unoccupied for seven years, and transformed it into a beauty spa. In 1981 Costigan sold the Grange to the Purdew family, who operate it today as an upscale spa resort.
