Glevering Hall

  • Built / Designed For: Chaloner Arcedekne

    House & Family History: John White's late 18th century white brick house was altered by Decimus Burton (including the addition of the Orangery, with its glass dome and palm-tree columns) between 1834 and 1835. The Arcedekne family owned the Estate until the late 19th century, when it was converted to a store. The family repurchased Glevering Hall in the late 20th century and redeveloped it into separate living spaces.
