Gatcombe Park (Gatcomb Park)

  • House & Family History: Gatcombe is the home of Princess Anne, The Princess Royal, who organizes the Festival of British Eventing at Gatcombe Park, which has made the Estate a center for equestrians. The festival incorporates the British Open, intermediate and novice championships. Queen Elizabeth purchased the House in 1976 as a wedding gift for Princess Anne and her first husband, Captain Mark Phillips. Princess Anne's daughter, Zara Phillips, and her husband, Mike Tindall, moved to Gatcombe in 2013.
