House & Family History: During World War II Franks was used as a maternity home. The House remained a private home until 1980, when it was sold to Findlay Publications Ltd., who restored it for use as their headquarters. In 2005 Franks Hall was sold to Transcribe Thames Group, for their headquarters. When Transcribe Thames was sold in 2011, the House was left vacant.
