Fenton House (Ostend House)

  • House & Family History: Built in the 17th century as a merchant's house, Fenton was bequeathed to the National Trust in 1952 by Lady Binning, its last owner and resident.

    Collections: Fenton contains an outstanding collection of porcelain, 17th century needlework pictures, Georgian furniture, and the Benton Fletcher Collection of Early Keyboard Instruments, most of which are in working order.
