House & Family History: Farleigh is a flint and stone house with fine interiors. The house is particularly notable for its tower-like central projection, which boasts a coat of arms saved from a park gate at Hurstbourne House. Farleigh was originally the dower house to Hurstbourne (partially demolished). In 1988 Farleigh was returned to use as a private home after serving as a Roman Catholic prep school between 1954 and 1983.
