Encombe House

  • Earlier Houses: There was an earlier house on, or near, the site of the current house, in addition to the Medieval remains of Shaftesbury Abbey.

    House & Family History: Encombe, together with 2,026 acres, sold for £15 million in 2001. In 2009 the house and estate was sold for £20 million to James Gaggero, who made a fortune with Gibraltar Airways.
