    House & Family History: The Bendyshe family, previously of Barrington Hall, Cambridge, owned the Estate from 1928 until 1988, when it was sold, together with 850 acres. In 2005 Broomford (with 855 acres) was sold by Noel Edmonds (the television presenter), after his divorce, for between £5 and £10 million.
