Bridwell Park (Bridwell House)

  • Built / Designed For: Richard Hall Clarke

House & Family History: Bridwell House was sold in 1980, together with 415 acres. The house was restored after a 1990 fire and was listed for sale again in September 2011, when Bridwell House and 117 acres were offered for £4 million. After two failed offers, Bridwell was opened as a function venue in the early autumn of 2014. In September of 2016, Lord Ivar Mountbatten, owner of Bridwell and cousin of Queen Elizabeth II, came out as a gay man - bravo!
