Birch Grove House

  • Built / Designed For: Maurice and Helen Macmillan

    House & Family History: Birch Grove was the home of Prime Minister Harold Macmillan and the Macmillan family, who were seated here since 1882. The house was sold in 1988, together with 1,390 acres, to be used as a hotel, conference center, and golf club. In 2011 Birch Grove became a private home again.
