Barrells Hall

  • Built / Designed For: Robert Knight

    House & Family History: Barrells was one of the most important estates in Warwickshire. The House was built 1792-94 for Robert Night, MP, and is one of the few domestic works of Joseph Bonomi's to survive into the 21st century. Circa 1856 the House was slightly altered and then extended, circa 1882, to the designs of J.P. Seddon. Barrells burned in the 1930s and was not occupied again until the early 21st century, when it was saved from dereliction and restored as a family home.
