Earlier Houses: An earlier house, the seat of the Paley family, was destroyed by fire in 1885 and replaced by the current 1892 house. Circa 1700 gates and a rusticated archway from the earlier house are extant.
House & Family History: Balfour & Turner designed new House that replaced earlier house. The gates and rusticated archway that survive from the earlier house were made circa 1700.
